March randomness

Austin and his hair keep growing and growing!

School baseball started.

Uncle Jacob and Aunt Courtney sent birthday candy.

Bailey is trying our patience as a puppy, but sure is cute!

Reese turns 8!

We had a lot of fun celebrating our sweet, seriously silly Reese!  Her actual birthday fell on a Sunday, so I brought lunch to school on Friday, she had a soccer game on Sat, then had her sweet friends over for fun and a hibachi style dinner.
Things to remember about Reese at 8 - she is very adventurous with food and will try and usually like almost anything.  She loves soccer, but mostly likes the team community and friendship aspect of it.  She is meticulous about being on time...everywhere!  She is like an old soul, sometimes the things that come out of her mouth are so insightful it is shocking...we always say that she speaks the truth.  She adores her brother and sister and in general is just a sweet, happy kid.
We love you Reesie!

So grateful for Andrea and all she does for these three monkeys.

Pedicures with Maddie and Lilian.

A new bike for her birthday, just like Grandma's cruiser and Ella's bike.

Tired out pups.

She had just learned to ride on her own a few weeks before...because that was when she was ready...no sooner, no later.

February 2018

Gorgeous "winter" weather meant bike riding for Reese.

Indoor soccer: sister vs sister...Coach Heather said she it was the only time she ever saw Ella pull back.

Soccer tournaments...Ella so badly wanted to take home the trophy and unfortunately never did.  They had done so well, but she walked away from this picture and burst into tears.  Her competitive spirit is something that is often a strength, but sometimes a bit overshadowing of the other great there is...luckily she doesn't hold onto stuff for too long.

Dirty sweet Reesie toes...I love them so!

Bailey and Sandy napping...Bailey loves her big sis!

Valentines day with my monkeys.

Puppy vet check-in.

Beauty before school - Ella, 4th grade, age 9.

Soccer tournament in Houston for Ella.

Pool fun for crazy kids...brrr!

More soccer!

Danny Green, Spurs player, run-in during Sunday errands.

Dinner on the patio in February because there were finally no mosquitoes...and she helped cook

January 2018

January brought games, puppy snuggles, a growing boy, and me turning 40!

Independent Study meant this one got to get into character as Amelia Earhart.

We went wine tasting in the Hill Country to celebrate Sarah, Courtney and I all turning 40.

We started off the birthday celebration with frozen yogurt...love these monkeys!

It was cool and misty, but we hiked before heading out the our staycation at the Hotel Emma.

It was an amazing hotel!

Cured and Jazz with friends:)

We enjoyed the nice weather and grabbed dinner on the patio one night.

And just like that, the first month of the year was in the books.
