A trip to Lowes
This was the only picture I took last weekend. It was filled with a basketball game, three birthday parties, visits with family, and many errands, including this one to Lowes. (To get a new kitchen table chandelier because I broke ours while trying to do a craft project, UGHH!)
It was us three ladies at the home improvement store and they insisted on sitting next to each other in the cart. Reese then flirted with everybody in the lighting aisle![]()
Making Play Dough at Mimi and Papas
I am so glad they had such a good time (and that the mess wasn’t at my house)
The flour was just for fun and might have been their favorite part.
Play Dough
2 cups flour3 tbsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup salt
4 tbsp oil
1/2 cup boiling water
food coloring
Mix dry ingredients together. Mix oil, food coloring and boiling water in a separate container. Stir liquid mixture until cool enough to knead. Knead until smooth. If play-dough is too dry, add more water, a little at a time. If play-dough is too crumbly, knead in a small amount of oil. Store in an airtight container.

Basketball, Birthdays, and a Baby Shower
More Christmas pictures from Grandma Chris’ house
It may be the middle of January, but Reese is still asking for Santa to come back.
Just a few more shots of the fabulous day that was above and beyond amazing!
We can finally do something with her hair!
She may be almost two years old, but it took us until recently to actually give this girl a hair do’.
Look past the drool covered shirt to see how cute this girl looks rocking’ pig tails!

Happy New Year’s!!! Hello 2012!
Thanks to Sarah and Danny for as always hosting their annual New Year’s Eve celebration! We did pretend that the ball dropping in New York was our New Year’s, but Austin called me out and said it wasn’t 12am yet:)
We made it back home to our house to see the fireworks before we all tucked in.
2011 was pretty wonderful, but I am looking forward to all that 2012 has in store as well.
I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions, but thought I would give it a try this year:
1) Drink more water
2) Exercise ( I don’t add the more part, because I am starting from zero, so can only go up from here)
3) Be more organized. This will be my hardest. It isn’t that I am a total disaster now, just too tired from keeping up with the three munchkins to be as good as I would like.
We will see how this goes:)
Happy New Year’s!!!!!
Hanging out on New Year’s Eve Day
More enjoying the fabulous weather!
Reese found “Daddy’s hat”
And I gave up, took the gate down and let her do it all by herself.
Winter in San Antonio
Look how much they have changed since when we came on 1-1-11!
