the rest of Christmas Day - 2012

We celebrated at Grandma Chris’ house and then at my parents house.  The day was filled with a plethora of presents and food, but most importantly family and love!

Ella - our photographer in the making.

Abby was too quick for me to grab her picture, but Lily cooperated and stayed put.  As I am typing this, Reese says Lily looks fabulous!

Reese was a little under the weather and napped while we opened up presents.  She then mostly just wanted to snuggle and be left alone.

We are beyond blessed in every area of our lives!  Thank you so much to all of our wonderful family who is so generous and gives us all so much love!

Santa’s Present to me

A new lens!  I am in love! Now, I just need to learn how to fully use it.

Thank goodness for sweet friends who have great photography skills and knowledge!

While I played with my new lens, Ella kept an eye on Reese’s mothering skills.

Christmas Morning - 2012

They were all on the nice list, so Santa came while we all were asleep.

Austin was the first to coming running down at 7am.  Ella followed soon after and we actually had to wake up Reesie.

Austin – your most wished for items: a football, a basketball, games for Xbox and DS, Spurs tickets, Lego set, and an iPad.  Santa does not have iPads for kids, but he did get you a new iPod touch which is usable with Sportacular, the whole reason why you wanted an iPad. You were a little bummed after opening Santa presents at our house that you didn’t get Spurs tickets, but we knew they were to come later.

Ella – your most wished for items: glue, glitter, paper, a doll.  You were so happy to get anything “teacher” related and exclaimed “Santa brought the best presents”  Your favorite gift was a doll you got and a bell in the teacher set from Aunt Leslie and Uncle Joel.  You also love that you got Austin’s older iPod touch (which actually originated as Daddy’s and now leave it playing constantly for your babies)

Reese- you were just happy to open things and then tried to guard them all from Big Sister taking them.  For days after you keep asking where Max (our Elf on the Shelf) is.
