It was a little challenging to shuttle back and forth across the school to each class room so that both kids felt like they got enough attention, but totally worth it to see them, their friends and teachers celebrate the upcoming holiday.
Let the fun of two weeks off begin!
Reese has started ballet at Concordia with Ms Shannon and she had her 1st recital this week. These are the same classes that Ella took while there and it is hard to believe she will only be there for another year and half and then off to kinder!
She had a blast and is now also asking for gymnastics lessons. This girls seems to be up for almost anything and I think it is going to be great watching her try different things.
I am amazed that 13 years have flown by. I didn’t think it possible 13 years ago, but Jeff is even more handsome and I love him even more today than on December 16, 2000! I can’ t wait to see what the next 13 years bring us.
We are so blessed to have such great friends that invited us over for breakfast with Santa! It was relaxing and fun to watch all the little ones with Santa.
First up, Santa read a story to everyone. My three weren’t afraid, but the girls did take a little while to warm up and never wanted to go sit in Santa’s lap one-on-one.
None the less, they did eventually tell Santa what they wanted. All three asked for a puppy. What!?! Nobody ran this by me ahead of time. The message has had to be that Santa doesn’t have a puppy for our house this year. Sorry kids, Santa has plenty of other fun stuff.
They have since also asked for:
Ella – Rainbow Loom & cowgirl boots
Reese – cowgirl boots and cookies
Austin – iPad mini, Madden 25 and an air soft gun
What happens when you try to get a group shot with kids, ha! Thank you so much sweet friends, we had a great time!
Reese is following right in Ella’s steps. She wants to dress herself the moment she wakes up, which includes all accessories and her clothes inside out. We let her stay that way as long as we aren’t leaving the house and then much to her chagrin, make her at least get the clothes on the right way. She has even started sleeping in her headbands, too cute! She also insists on wearing them low as seen here. She refuses to push them up as most people wear them.

We didn’t have an 8 and had to improvise with 67 again.
After cake, the girls headed out for bike and scooter fun.
Cousin Abby wanted to be like the big girls.
