We had an Ariel, Zombie & Tinka (character from show, Shake It Up).
It was the 1st year that Austin donned a scary costume and job well done, the girls were running away.
The wigs and mask were off before we even left to trick r’ treat.
Two of Austin’s friends in the neighborhood came and got him as we were leaving, and off they went to trick r’ treat on their own. Our new neighborhood is fairly small and gated so we felt safe letting them go, but to me it was a big milestone. I kept telling Jeff that I didn’t know last year would be the last time he was going to trick r’ treat with us. How could that stage already be over? Too fast, too fast!
Luckily these two still want us right by their sides.
We had a great time, they brought home lots of candy for mama, and Ella has not taken off her high heels since! (She is obsessed and in love, specifically with the sound they make when she walks…click clack, click clack)
