Happy Birthday Aunt Leslie and Great Grandpa (89)

We love you!

November

Oh the joys of school projects...

They continue to BEGGGGG for a sister or brother for Sandy.

Jeff took the girls to the zoo with the twins during Thanksgiving break.

We hit up Enchanted Rock again the day before Thanksgiving.

The girls made treats on their own to take over for Thanksgiving desert at our friends house.

We got up early and all 5 of us did the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot!

Austin ran it with his friends and unfortunately lost his phone in the river:(
Reese and Jeff went up ahead and ended up running most of it...while I trailed running behind.  Ella wanted to stay behind and walk with friends, but at mile 2 decided they were too slow, so she ran the last mile all on her won...oh my...love that independent girl.

And then Reese and I battled over the hat the rest of the day.  We had a quiet Thanksgiving lunch at our house with some of the family.  Big Grandma was having a tough time, so she and Big Grandpa didn't make it over...and it was our first turkey day without Grandma Chris...so it was a bit quieter than years past.  But, it is our new normal, so we are adapting and so grateful for all the family and friends we have around us.

Friday meant it was time to decorate.  The kids did the entire tree their self this year.

And earned a hot chocolate treat.

Austin had one too, but enjoyed it out on the patio while watching football with Jeff.

October

Dog park with Sandy (Reese at 7.5 yrs, Sandy at 2.75yrs)
Ella playing soccer!

Going to the women's UT soccer game with her coach and teammate.  Coach Heather played there and I think I got her to drink the kool aid and she now wants to go!

We went up to Dallas for Fall Break.  We hit the State Fair of Texas for the first time, had dinner with Aunt Sally and Uncle Rob and rode every slide possible...100 times...at the Great Wolf Lodge:)

We go to Espararza's every time we are up there...yummy!

They loved the arcade as much as they loved the water park.

She won big!

There was a big difference between this visit and the last.  All three rode every ride and could ride by themselves, or we rode some all together...a lot of fun for sure!

Then back home and Jeff was off to LA for the weekend with friends.  I snapped this shot running errands on Sunday....how did they get so big so fast?

Character dress up day for the lower school....We had a Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and Laura from Little House on the Prairie.

And just like that it was Halloween...a wounded gymnast, a mummy, and a masked mad man!
