A little yoga and silliness outside

Our weekend while Jeff was in Vegas

Jeff escaped to Vegas for one of the March madness weekends.

Reese and I went to a birthday party for a friend.

Played outside and went to Austin’s baseball game with cousin Mason.

And hit the zoo with the new carousel on Sunday.

As you can see, it was hit or miss by this time.  We were so happy to have Daddy home on Sunday night!

A few silly pics

Moments here and there, love them!

These were from Ella’s birthday weekend.

This was a Thursday Luby’s trip while the boys were at baseball.

Roller skating

I took Austin and Ella over spring break and even got out there myself.

Austin ran into a couple of other friends and took off like a big kid.  It took a little while for Ella, but once she got the hang of it, she seemed to have a great time.

Ella celebrating her birthday with Lauren

All Ella wanted to do for her birthday was have a special day/sleep over with Lauren.  Unfortunately, Lauren got strep on the day we were supposed to celebrate, so we made up for it a few weeks later.

Pedicure, ice skating, frozen yogurt, and plenty of American Girl time.  I think she is liking being 6!

Ella’s earrings debacle

When Ella got her ears pierced, they told us we could switch them out after 6 weeks.  She was begging for a different pair, we waited 8 weeks, followed the directions on which pairs she could wear, etc.

She picked out another pair of studs and these hoops.

We grabbed dinner afterwards.

A few days later it all went downhill.  We had switched back to the studs, but I was out of town, one had fallen out while she was at St. Andrew’s, and long story short, they got infected, we had to go to the dr, and now she has declared she will not wear earrings again.

The doctor said her ears should have been healed and ready to switch out at that time, but now we know we will have to wait much longer if/when she gets them re-pierced.

Luckily she doesn’t seem fazed and has quickly moved on.
