We were so happy when Jeff’s mom felt like she was up for a weekend getaway. I had heard good things about this resort from other friends with kids and it did not disappoint!
We loved almost everything about it and it was definitely geared towards kids. We were there for three nights, but still weren’t able to get to everything.
We tried a pony ride, but Austin was the only one who wanted to get on, and off he goes on his ride.
After some cajoling, she did agree to pet the pony.
Maybe she will get on, nope she won’t. But she was giggles once he was gone. She continued to tell us the rest of the trip how she didn’t want to get on the horse.
Ella was terrified as well and this was as close as she got.
Austin got a good 15 minute ride in and came back happy.
The girls did love the bikes they had available to ride.
But one of their favorite parts (aside from the pool) was the playground and the big grassy area where Ella could show us her gymnastics
This pretend pony was in the lobby and they were all happy to hop on him.
Reese was a little under the weather and for some reason insisted on wearing her crocs every time she went to sleep, the entire nap or night.
The girls made jewelry out of candy while Austin got one on one time with grandma at the pool.
After dinner we made our way to s’mores, my FAVORITE desert EVER!
We all got great snuggles with Baby Abby and Baby Lily. Reese proclaimed that Lily was her baby and Abby was Ella’s baby. How convenient of Leslie and Joel to have two babies so my girls wouldn’t have to share.
I clearly did not do a great job of capturing any of the grown-ups on this trip, but as you can see, I did manage one goofy family picture.
Thank you Grandma Chris, we had the best time!!
