Jeff took Austin to the gym where he ran into friends he already knew and waited to start his first day of 3rd grade. I took Ella into the cafeteria and Jeff joined us shortly after. Still hard to believe this sweet girls was starting school!
She was a little nervous,but once we got to her classroom was all smiles.
The only person who cried that day was me. A few days later when I asked her how she felt about her new class and being at school with Austin, she told me she liked it and that Austin will take her to the bathroom if she needs to go when they are waiting for St. Andrew’s (after school program) It makes me so happy that they are both comfortable and happy at their new school and that Austin (on his own, not prompted by us) is always looking out for her!
