We had been looking for a new house since we put Rogers Lake on the market in Aug of 2012. The market changed so much during that time and there were a few houses we initially wanted and didn’t get, but it all happened for a reason. About a month after our house sold, we found one that I fell in love with! It was not too far from our old house, but had so many things I really wanted – trees & shade, bigger lot, hardwood floors, big baseboards, flat and long driveway, huge laundry room, quiet street and great location. It was missing one key thing that Jeff really wanted – a pool. The backyard definitely had room for one though. The décor was definitely not our style, the kids had to change schools (but to one where they had plenty of friends), it did not have an open floor plan, game room or office…..All that being said,after looking at so many houses, we realized there is no perfect house and it ultimately felt like the right house for us and we went for it and bought it!
